Peer Learning
ContentPicture
At QUEST, courses are designed and led by members who are course coordinators. A class usually consists of a report (called a presentation) by a member of the class who has researched a subject pertinent to the course. This is followed by a question/answer session and lively discussion.

In some of our literature courses, like Shakespeare, we conduct our own play-readings and analysis. In our workshop courses, members try their hand at writing or acting, life-drawing or collage. Our music courses like Music of Indigenous Peoples or Grand Opera are illustrated by videos chosen by course leaders.

We call this format "peer learning", but by any name it's fun and stimulating.
